Casting call for Disney Cruise ships!!

How much do you love music? About as much as you enjoy acting? Then boy oh boy do we have the perfect opportunity for you! If you love singing, dancing, and acting, then there is a great chance to get involved with Disney coming up! Better yet, do you love water and the ocean? Even better!

Disney is offering an amazing opportunity got anyone interested in working on the Disney Cruise Line! They are looking for male and female musical theatre performers for some major roles! In fact, they are searching for new faces on the Disney Wonder, Disney Magic, and Disney Dream (the newest ship to enter the Disney line)! If you are cast, your contact will last around 7 to 9 months long. You will have the time of your life traveling along the Caribbean Sea, the Bahamas, Mexico, and Alaska!

Disney is looking for around 20 performers for up to 4 musical shows on each ship! This is a great chance to get your face out there and show Disney your amazing talent! Auditions will be held in Trinidad, Spain. So if you are near there on August 17th, 2010, get going!

Below are the roles they are looking for:

Lion King Vocalists – 20-30 years old, males and females. To portray African princes and princess’ who sing “Can You Feel the Love Tonight”.

Female Pop Gospel – Around 30 years old, Gospel singer who can move it and rock to the crowd!

Jafar – Tall and skinny male. High range E with powerful and strong pop voice.

Sophia Greenaway – Young 20’s – female actress/principal vocalist of African-heritage. Strong soprano/mix.

Naveen – Late 20’s to 30’s, male. Latin or Mediterranean heritage. Handsome baritone/tenor. Height 5′11 or taller.

Rafiki – 30 years old or more. Female actress/principal vocalist of African-heritage with rich soulful sound.

Cinterella – Early 20’s – 30’s. Female. Strong vocalist alto to soprano. Height between 5′4″ and 5′8″

Snow White – Early 20’s – 30’s. Female. Strong voiced alto, height around 5′4″ – 5′8″.

Belle – Early 20’s – 30’s. Female. Strong voice, pop sound, alto to soprano dependent on role.

Mary Poppins – Early 20’s – 30’s. Female. Alto to soprano dependent on role.

Sleeping Beauty – Early 20’s – 30’s. Female. Strong voice, poised and graceful, alto to soprano dependent on role.
