Disney’s “Real Steel” Auditions and Movie News

Disney will be releasing its first film under the DreamWorks label since it landed the deal. The Shawn Levy-directed futuristic drama “Real Steel,” will begin production in June 2010 and casting is currently underway. The premiere is scheduled for November 18, 2011.
Hugh Jackman is set to star with Steven Speilberg, Robert Zemeckis, Jack Rapke, Steve Starkey, Josh McLaglen and Mary McLaglen executive producing.
The film is a future-set story where robot boxing is a popular sport and centered on a struggling promoter (Jackman) who thinks he’s found a champion in a discarded robot. During his hopeful rise to the top, he also discovers he has an 11-year-old son who wants to know his father.
I can’t make auditions, but if I sent in a video, would that be sufficient. I’m a huge Hugh Jackman fan and I love Spielberg and it’d be amazing to wok with them.
