Believe it or not, Selena’s first apparance on TV was on the kids show Barney and Friends! Thats right, lovable Selena played Gianna on three episodes of the well-known childrens show. From there she quickly went on to bigger and better things. She was on an episode of “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” and even appeared in Hanna Montana! She has been in a handful of projects as an extra (hey, you gotta get started somewhere!) and has had a few minor roles.

In 2007 came her big break, when she became the star of her very own television series on Disney, Wizards of Waverly Place. Staring alongside of Hotel for Dogs star Jake T. Ausin and famed actor David Henrie, Selena finally had something of her own. But now, the show is coming to a close. It is ending in the 4th season but don’t worry, she isn’t going to diasppear!

She already has a hit movie out, Ramona and Beezus and is working on the second Wizards of Waverly Place movie. She also has a few other projects in the works, so be prepared to hear a lot from this young Disney star.

But don’t be fooled, Selena Gomez isn’t just an actress, she is also a singer-songwriter! She loves to sing and has been involved with the soundtract to Tinker Bell! She also preformed a song with famous band Forever the Sickest Kids. It is no secret that she is one famous star and extremly talanted.

How will you react to the end of Wizards of Waverly Place?

With that in mind a lot of people are wondering who the team is behind the new Spiderman, and if Spidey will have a new look. You can be sure that Marvel has a group of talented people in mind, and that the new Ultimate Spider-Man will be a blast.

Jason Dolley

A familiar face to Disney Channel viewers, Dolley starred in three Disney Channel Original Movies, “Hatching Pete,” “Minutemen” and “Read It and Weep,” and in the Disney Channel comedy series “Cory in the House.”

He started acting professionally at age 11. His film debut was the lead role in the award-winning short film “Chasing Daylight,” directed by Jeff Stephenson. However his big break came in 2004, when he landed a series regular role in Mel Gibson’s ABC comedy series, “Complete Savages,” as T.J. Savage, the youngest of the five brothers.

During the 2006-07 pilot season, Dolley was cast in the ABC drama pilot “Enemies,” during which he worked with famed director F. Gary Gray (“Be Cool,” “The Italian Job”). In 2007 he had a supporting role in the crime-drama feature film, “The Air I Breathe,” starring Andy Garcia, Kevin Bacon, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Forest Whitaker, Brendan Fraser and Emile Hirsch. In 2006 he also starred in the lead role of Marty Preston in the Warner Bros. feature “Saving Shiloh.”

Born in Southern California, Dolley is the youngest of four boys. An excellent student, he maintained a consistent 4.0 grade point average throughout high school. Now a college student, he enjoys playing his guitar and piano, video games and spending time with his friends.

Dolley resides in Los Angeles with his family.

Bridgit Mendler

Mendler has a recurring role as Justin Russo’s vampire girlfriend, Juliet Van Heusen, on Disney Channel’s Emmy Award-winning series, “Wizards of Waverly Place.” Her other credits include a guest-starring role on the hit series “JONAS,” where she sang opposite Nick Jonas, and the upcoming 20th Century Fox sequel “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel.”

Within a few weeks of deciding to pursue acting, Mendler landed a guest-starring role on ABC’s long-running daytime drama, “General Hospital,” and later had roles in “Alice Upside Down,” “The Clique” and ABC Family’s “Labor Pains.”

Mendler first caught the acting bug at age 8 while attending local acting camps in the San Francisco Bay area. Her early experience led to local roles in both dramatic and musical theatre, and she eventually became the youngest performer in the San Francisco Fringe Festival. Soon she was dabbling in voice acting, which led to roles in the animated feature film “The Legend of Buddha” and the video game based on the comic book series “Bone.”

Born December 18, 1992 in Washington, DC, Mendler is currently enrolled in an online high school through The Education Program for Gifted Youth at Stanford University and in her spare time enjoys dancing and songwriting.

‘Good Luck Charlie’

To star us off, here’s some information about the show and the premiere episode ‘Study Date’.

The family sitcom “Good Luck Charlie” follows the comedic quandary of teenagers Teddy and PJ Duncan and their 10-year-old brother, Gabe, when they’re unexpectedly designated babysitters for the new baby in the house as their mom, Amy, returns to work as a late shift nurse and their dad, Bob, carries on with his pest-control business. Now the whole family is involved in raising the baby, and it’s up to the older kids to come home after school and take charge of young Charlotte (AKA Charlie), all while navigating typical teenage life.

Even the teenagers know that the adorable little bundle of burdens is quite a beautiful addition to the family, but with burp cloths in their backpacks and formula stains on their favorite clothes, the Duncan kids have a lot to learn about the comedic chaos this baby can unwittingly create, especially when she’s mobile, can grasp objects and be generally destructive. Meanwhile “new” again parents Amy and Bob quickly re-learn everything from existing on two hours of sleep to changing diapers and dodging spit up.

Hard-driving Teddy is determined to juggle her responsibilities to her family with her grades, texting and cell phone chats with friends, all while creating daily video diaries for Charlie to use for advice after Teddy has grown up and moved out. In addition to Teddy’s tips on how to withstand the household, the videos also relate to being a teenager and dealing with friends, boys and school.

Older brother, easy-going PJ spends most of his time preoccupied with girls, and with the time he has left over, he usually practices with his band, “PJ and the Vibe,” or argues with Teddy about nearly everything.

Mischievous Gabe maneuvers the transition from being baby in the family to what he considers to be the overlooked rank of middle child. He also has an affinity for coming up with unique solutions to the precarious situations he finds himself getting into.

Each episode features Teddy’s video diary, one she creates for Charlie to use for advice after Teddy has grown up and moved out.

In the premiere episode, “Study Date,” Amy is fretting as she returns to work as a nurse, but Bob reassures her that they have a support system to care for Charlie. However Teddy’s distracted by a cute classmate, PJ is trying to have a jam session with his friend and Gabe is feeling as if their territory has been invaded. When Bob slips and falls on the stairs, Charlie is put in the sole care of Teddy and PJ drives his dad to the hospital, where they go to great lengths to avoid mom.

Disney Channel invites viewers to create their own New Year’s Eve programming event by voting for their favorite episodes, moments, music videos and more in online polls at DisneyChannel.com. Beginning FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20, three new polls will roll out each Friday inviting viewers to vote in a total of 18 categories, including Favorite Episodes and Favorite Guest Star. Fans can also vote for their Top 10 favorite music videos of 2009, and the songs will air on Radio Disney. Voting will determine the New Year’s Eve programming lineup, entitled “New Year’s Star Showdown,” airing THURSDAY, DECEMBER 31 (6:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m. ET/PT) on Disney Channel. Throughout the night, Disney Channel will air sneak peeks of upcoming Disney Channel and Disney XD series and original movies including the much-anticipated “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam.”

Last year nearly 33.7 million online votes were cast during the “Totally New Year” programming event. This year, every time one of the online polls is completed, users will unlock that week’s digital prize and reveal a piece of the mystery puzzle.
