This is going to be a huge hit in theatres, and you have the chance to be a part of it! Shooting is set to beging in LA this September all the way until November, with a scheduled release date of December 25th, 2011.

This movie will center on the The Muppets reunion, in order to save The Muppet Studio in Hollywood. They get everyone together in an adventure to defeat Tex Richman, an evil Hollywood man who wants their studio! Everyone must work together in order to save their beloved Muppet studio, and together with their human pal, Gary, they are sure to do so!

Sounds like a movie you would want to be part of? Then get that resume out of the closet, dust off your head shots, and mail them into the casting director! This new Disney feature film is called “The Odd Life of Timothy Green”. It is going to be directed by Peter Hedges, a great director who wrote “About a Boy”, and was also involved with Johnny Depp in “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape”. If you have seen any of those movies then you know what Mr. Hedges can do, he has the chance of making you a star! Interested? Good!

They are going to start auditions in the beginning of September, 2010. That isn’t far away, so you have a lot of work to do it you wanna score an audition! Right now they are looking for pre-teen males and females for the two lead parts! So read below to see if any of the two parts sound like you! If they don’t fit you, it’s ok! They still have a lot of minor roles and extras to cast, so you still have a great shot at making it.

As of right now, Disney is keeping a very tight lid on the actual plot of the movie. All we know is that Peter is directing it, it is going to be a Disney movie, and it needs new faces!! So get going, let’s see you become the next Disney STAR!

Disney is always looking for new faces, and now they are searching for actors just like yourself to play the part as extras and other various roles in this new anticipated film. As of now this film is still in the works and very little information has been let out. But don’t worry! We will keep you posted the moment we hear anything!

So far there are no talent search dates or locations…but that will change at any moment! In the meantime, you can start preparing for your audition! Practice your monologues and make sure your resume and head shots are all up to date. This is going to be HUGE, we can already tell. It is best if you get ready now, that way if you score an audition you will be able to amaze the casting directors!

First off, what is the comic book turned film? Runaways. Ever hear of it? It is the story of 6 kids who find out their parents are actually supervillains! So what do they do? They run away and vow to change the tables and actually do right in this world. They team up and go good, intent on showing their parents the right way. They soon learn that they have powers as well, and steal their parents money and resources to change the world for good.

Marvel Studios has been planning this movie for a while, but just finally started casting. Ever hear of the movie Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist? Well, the director of that film is in charge of this one as well. So you know it is going to be good. With shooting planned for January 2011, they are going to need to get those parts cast soon! Which is why you need to start right now.

“It is pretty gnarly,” Cyrus told Reuters. “It is about a daughter who is involved with all the wrong kids, doing drugs, failing school, but the mother has her on this perfect pedestal. I just fell in love with the story.”

Hannah Montana season 4 is set to air on Disney Channel in July and episodes will be shown throughout the summer. Miley is definitely ready to step away from that role and show people what she can do.

“I had been wanting to get out of what people think as the obvious choice for me to do next. You have no idea how many musicals came to my door,” Cyrus said.

“It was so freeing to not be, like ‘Alright, I’m happy!’ and getting to be real and working with life’s real emotions. People are so used to me playing the happy girl,” she said.

Miley continued, “A new chapter is beginning and one that has been my life for the past five years is ending. It is interesting to be leaving my security blanket behind, but also it is exciting for me to get involved in this movie career”.

And how was it working with Johnny?

He was great. He’s a lovely person – and he instantly makes you feel very comfortable. He’s also a very generous actor. And you can totally believe him as The Mad Hatter – the role is tailor made for him!

And in terms of researching your role as Alice, did you back to the original Disney film or…?

Mainly just the books. I like to use Alice from the books as the backbone. That was the framework for which we sort of built our own Alice – though obviously she’s a lot older in our story. But yeah, in terms of research, really it was just reading the books and finding as much material on the character as I could find, and also finding visual references from Alice’s world.

How did you get involved in the film?

I sent over a video audition in February of 2008. I then ended up doing another four auditions with Tim in June. It was a long process of auditioning – but it was worth it!

So Tim pretty much just had you reading lines and seeing if you were a fit?

Yeah, typical audition situation – they give you 2 scenes for the audition, and you go from there.

Did you have to audition with any of the other actors though?

No. The first time I actually met my co-stars was on set.

According to Variety, Disney has another High School related movie in the plans called “Prom”. They haven’t given the movie the green light just quite yet.

Early plans had “Prom” being produced for around $5 to $10 million and featuring fresh faces. The studio had been encouraged by “HSM’s” ability to launch new stars like Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu, virtual unknowns at the time. The third installment earned $163 million at the worldwide box office in 2008, and was made for around $15 million. But Disney is keeping its budget and casting options for the nine lead roles open until it reads Wech’s script.

And for those of you wondering, they are reportedly still developing High School Musical 4:East Meets West. Disney has two high school related movies  in the mix…what do you think about that?

I don’t wanna take credit for anything or offend anyone cause I think drew ryan scott is amazingly talented and I am so grateful that disney found someone that fantastic to sing the rest of the songs. I tried really hard to make the singing my voice, but I literally showed up a week before shooting and heard the songs 4 days before I recorded starstruck. Just not not enough time and fyi drew did sing backround vocals on starstruck and thats HIS voice on the other songs! I can’t thank him enough. Hopefully this will put an end to all this silliness! Thanks again much love to everyone!

Sterling did sing the title track “StarStruck”, but since he had to fill in last minute for Cody Linley who had scheduling conflicts, he just didn’t have enough time to learn the songs like he needed to.
