This new show is called Disney Channel Rocks! And they are searching for female and male vocalists. So if you can sing, love rock concerts, enjoy being in front of people, and eager to make it on the big screen, this is your chance!! Everything sound in order? Great! Then get going. They are looking for two girls. One girl with a strong belt rock style, Alto. And another girl, second Soprano, with a young pop sound. The first guy they are looking for will be the leading man, first tenor rock/pop sound. The other guy they are searching for is second tenor with a rap/R&B sound.

Make sure to prepare 16 bars of a pop song, provide your own sheet music, and bring along your head shot and resume!!

The great part it, not only do you get paid doing what you like, you also get to enjoy theme park life as an actor! See any part that you know you would be excellent at? Great! Just make sure you reach the requirements. Are you 16 and a legal US resident (or at least authorized to work int eh United States)? Then you are in. Casting is open to the general public and there is no advanced registration required. As long as you haven’t auditioned in the past 6 months and are able to learn a small routine, you are in! Consider this your big acting break!

Just show up between the hours of 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM to sign in (if you are late, you won’t be able to audition so make sure you get there on time!). Auditions will be held at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Wardrobe/Rehearsal Facility. You can see the address at the bottom of this post.

• Show and Parade Movers: Movers should have some experience with dance. These performers help bring to life shows such as Festival of the Lion King, Block Party Bash, High School Musical 3: Right Here, Right Now! and many more! Especially seeking male movers.
• Female Character Look-alikes between 4′10″ and 5′8″ tall for roles including: Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, The Disney Fairies and our newest addition, Princess Tiana.
• Male Character Look-alikes between 5′0″ and 5′7″ for the roles of Peter Pan and Terence, our newest male fairy and Tinker Bell’s best friend.
• Fully-costumed meet and greet performers between 4′10″ and 5′1″ tall.

• 5 Saxophones (double on flute/clarinet/piccolo encouraged)
• 2 Tuba/Sousaphone-will play on tuba and sousaphone

• 4 Percussion (doubles-piano/bass players)
  • 1 Drum set player for one stage set per day; performer must double on either snare, quad, or bass drum for the four show/marching sets
  • 1 Acoustic/Electric Bass player for one stage set per day; performer must double on percussion or tuba for the four show/marching sets
  • 1 Jazz Piano player for one stage set per day; performer must double on percussion for the four show/marching sets
  • 1 Auxiliary Percussion

There are no string, theater, singer or dancer positions.

Yamaha will provide pro-line instruments, including doubles, for all members of the band during the summer contract. You will have the opportunity to purchase this instrument at the end of the summer at a discounted rate.
