Disney on Broadway has two auditions coming up for The Lion King. Here’s the information you need:

February 16, 2010 – Singer Auditions

Six Month Required Equity Male and Female Singers Call

Disney Theatrical Productions is seeking strong male and female singers who move very well — late teens – mid 40’s. Hiring replacements for the Broadway and National Touring companies.

WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE SINGERS OF ALL CULTURAL BACKGROUNDS TO ATTEND THIS CALL.

AUDITIONS:  Tuesday, February 16, 2010
10am – Female Singers
2pm – Male Singers
Chorus Call procedures will be in effect.

Sign in – Studio 16T

Be prepared to sing one brief classic R&B, pop or rock and roll song that shows off your voice and range. Please do not sing material from THE LION KING. No standard Broadway theatre music.
Bring sheet music. Pianist provided.
Bring a picture and resume, stapled together.
Non-Equity performers will be seen, time permitting.

February 18, 2010 and February 23, 2010 – Dancer Auditions

Six Month Required Equity Male and Female Dancer Call

Disney Theatrical Productions is seeking strong male and female dancers with a modern/ballet dance background-late teens to early 30’s. Some male dancers require strong acrobatic skills. Hiring replacements for all North American companies.
